“Swim With A Friend (SWAF) is a youth swimming program dedicated to empowering inner-city kids with essential water safety skills. Developed by Community Matters 2, Inc. and generously supported by Dutchess County, SWAF offers a comprehensive approach to swimming education. Our mission is clear: to teach children not only how to swim but also crucial water safety practices. SWAF goes beyond stroke techniques, focusing on instilling confidence and competence in the water. With the support of dedicated instructors, swimmers, and parents, we prioritize CPR/AED and First Aid training alongside swimming proficiency. Join us as we make a splash in the lives of our youth, equipping them with the skills they need to stay safe and confident in and around water. Dive into the SWAF program today and let’s swim towards a safer tomorrow.”
