Appointments to the Youth Board and Coordinating Council are made by the County Executive. Members serve a two-year term and represent various communities, support the philosophy of youth development and are interested in addressing youth concerns.
Youth Board and Coordinating Council acts as an advisory board to the Dutchess Community and Family Services Commissioner. They establish local criteria for the allocation of funding, review and analyze proposals for the creation or expansion of youth services making recommendations for grant awards.
Meetings are held monthly except for the months of July and August.
